I'm happy to announce that Poems of an Artsy Smartsy 10-Yr-Old is my 1st published book! There couldn't have been a better introduction book. The main character being a chocolate little artsy girl, writing poems about love, family, school, and friends, and leaving space in the back of the book for her new friends to create their own story to join her.
I've been writing for years, but it's just been in the recent years that I've learned the trick of finishing. The poems in Artsy Smartsy were all written by me between the ages of 9 to 11. It was eye opening re-reading the thought process of a 10 yr old me.
In my mid 20s I started to realize how heavy Alzheimer's played in my family, and the idea of time became a scary thing. So I made a decision to always try and remain conscious of my time, and to make a commitment to stop wasting it. Stay with me on this journey. I am in the process of writing my second children's book now.
